La ruche will be hosted in Villeurbanne from the 22nd to the 28th of november within the scope of the Festival du Film court de Villeurbanne. 8 writers of the 7th edition of this itinerant writing residency will meet at the CinéFabrique the 27th of november.
Topics of the day : a focus on the CNC short film production program with Morad Kertobi and on the first audiovisual contracts with the SACD. We will end the day with a screening-debate about short films directed by those who were part of La ruche : Chien bleu by Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh, Malgré eux by Djigui Diarra, La Hchouma by Achraf Ajraoui.
La Ruche offers a 3 screenwriting residencies program specific to short films during several festivals. This workshop ends with interviews with cinema producers. This program is meant for a 20-30 years old audience who didn’t study cinema and meet difficulties acceding to the professional cinema sector, but have the ambition to write and direct a first film.
